Los Angeles – A former hacker offered an apology to Paris Hilton for taking nude photos from her cell phone and leaking them online. As reported by NBC NEWS, Cameron Lacroix, 26, who is set to begin prison following a purported decade long criminal career spoke about his crimes, which also include purchasing gift cards with stolen credit card numbers, in a recent interview.

Lacroix is quoted as stating of cracking the code to Hilton’s phone when he was 16, “It all started because I wanted a T-Mobile phone… Once I got in there, I realized, ‘Hey, I have access to everybody’s stuff!

“I wanted to be a celebrity… it was mind-blowing for me. … I felt famous.”

Lacroix, who will begin serving four years in federal prison next month for more recent crimes, is further quoted as stating in his apology, “Paris, I’m sorry I put your information online… I should never have done it. I wouldn’t want it done to me.”
