Huntsville, AL – A man involved in a serious car accident was found to have sent an eerie text only moments before. As reported by WBTV, Chance Bothe’s vehicle flew off a cliff and into a ravine after texting while driving, “I need to quit texting, because I could die in a car accident.”

Bothe reportedly sustained multiple serious injuries in the accident, which occurred six months ago, including traumatic brain injury.

Bothe is quoted in the report as recently warning of the dangers of texting while driving having been in recovery for his injuries over the past few months, “They just need to understand, don’t do it. Don’t do it. It’s not worth losing your life.”
