California’s Altamont Pass SUV rollover closes Eastbound I-580

Oakland, CA(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–The Eastbound highway lines of California’s Interstate 580 were closed late Thursday morning after an SUV rollover crash engulfed in flames. According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) accident investigators the explosive SUV rollover happened about 11:25 a.m. This morning on I-580 just west of Grant Line Road.
The female SUV driver lost control of the motor vehicle while attempting to change lanes. Her eastbound I-580 SUV rolled seven times before it stopped and landed in a fiery wreck. Emergency medical crews responded and transported the injured victim to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley by helicopter. The driver required trauma treatment by doctors and nurses for her serious injuries. CHP automobile accident detectives and fire rescue crews cleared the wreckage and reopened Eastbound I-580 at about 12:45 on Thursday.
