Pickup truck driver struck by Georgia train airlifted to Atlanta hospital.
Atlanta, GA(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–Georgia State Patrol railway and roadway accident detectives remain investigating a pickup truck versus train crash in Paulding County. The Wednesday morning train crash of a Paulding County freight train and the unidentified driver of a pickup truck required the driver to be airlifted to an Atlanta hospital.
Sheriff’s deputies with the Georgia State Patrol say the railway crash happened at the railroad crossing intersection of Roper Road and Rosedale Drive. The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported by medical helicopter to Grady Memorial Hospital. The identity of the driver and his medical status remain unreported.
