Hyundai Santa Fe SUV driver hits 5 year-old boy on bike in Tampa Bay.
Tampa Bay, FL (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–Kashi Weaver, 5 year-old Tampa Bay area boy, was riding his bicycle on N 33rd Avenue near his home when he was hit by an SUV driver. As reported by the Tampa Bay Tribune, Weaver rode his bike off the sidewalk and out into the street in front of the 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV.
The driver, Robert Schoepflin, was unable to stop and hit the boy knocking him off his bike. Tampa Bay emergency medical crews responded and transported the injured boy to Tampa General Hospital. He was suffered a broken leg, head injuries and was treated by doctors and nurses in the hospital’s emergency department. Police investigating the SUV wreck have not filed any charges against the driver at this time.
