Falbrook, California – This week, the body of an adult man was found buried in a property in North County and was exhumed. Officials are trying to determine his identity.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s deputy found the man’s body at Block 400 South Ridge Avenue in Falbrook on Wednesday while investigating “suspicious circumstances,” Sergeant Thomas Sever said on Friday. The body was then exhumed and taken away by the forensic department of San Diego County.

Seifer said an autopsy conducted on Friday determined that the man’s method of death was homicide.

The department concealed the initial cause of death and information on potential suspects. No other information about the incident was shared publicly.
