“Kristin Cavallari's car was hit by another driver in Chicago today," her rep said in a statement. "She is doing fine and will be discharged from the hospital shortly.”

Now recovering from the incident, the reality star recently took to social media to discuss some of the personal challenges she has been facing during her ordeal.

“After ending up in the hospital after a painful car crash on Thursday, Kristin Cavallari is opening up about the worst consequences of her injuries. The 29-year-old former Laguna Beach star took to Twitter on Sunday where she shared that the crash had dislocated her elbow, meaning she hasn’t been able to carry her 2-month-old daughter, Saylor.”
