Dallas, Texas – A driver is suspected to have caused two separate traffic crashes in Dallas in the span of a relatively short time frame. CBSDFW.com reported that four people were taken to the hospital following a violent accident that occurred downtown. The early morning crash occurred on the eastbound side of the Woodall Rogers Freeway service road close to the Akard Street intersection.

A truck driver crashed into an SUV after allegedly running a red light. The driver of the truck was also suspected to have been involved in a hit-and-run accident earlier. In that crash, the truck sideswiped an SUV and kept going.

The man, 24-year-old Nathan Clark, has since been arrested and is facing two intoxication assault charges.

The driver of the SUV in the second crash was listed in critical condition at the time of the report. A 15-year-old passenger was said to be in stable condition at the time. A third passenger who was also taken to the hospital was determined to be uninjured.
