Florida – A Florida teen who allegedly hacked into his school’s computer network and changed the background image on a teacher’s computer is now facing a felony charge over the prank. According to a WebProNews report, 14-year-old Domanik Green was charged with offense against a computer system and unauthorized access in connection with the incident.

A Tampa Bay Times reports says that Green, “logged onto the school’s network on March 31 using an administrative-level password without permission. He then changed the background image on a teacher’s computer to one showing two men kissing.”

Authorities took issue with one of the computers that was hacked by Green containing FCAT questions; however, the student reportedly did not access or modify those files.

Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco stated of the incident being deemed more serious in nature than a simple prank, “Even though some might say this is just a teenage prank, who knows what this teenager might have done.”

Green reportedly landed in hot water over another school computer hacking incident prior.
