Bus accident in Egypt leaves 35 dead

Cairo, Egypt – At least 35 people were killed in a recent bus crash in Egypt. As reported by News.com.au, medical officials say at least 35 people have succumbed to their injuries after the bus they were riding in plunged into a canal.

The bus reportedly plunged into the canal in Giza after several other vehicles had crashed.

The victims were stated to have been construction workers from a private company. It was not yet determined at the time of the report how many people were on the bus total.

As noted in the report, an estimated 13,000 people are killed and 60,000 injured annually by road accidents in Egypt.
