Men pocket dial employer, revealing robbery

Key West – Two Florida men accidentally pocket dialed their employer and left a voicemail detailing a robbery they committed. As reported by WebProNews, the men were booked on felony grand theft charges following the incident.

According to a Miami Herald report, David Ricky Fanuelsen, 39, and Dean Ellis Brown, 22 have been accused of stealing saws from their employer, Concrete Solutions. The men had allegedly taken the three saws from a local job site.

Key West Police Department spokeswoman Alyson Crean said in the report that in the message left on their employer’s voicemail the men discussed plans to pawn the stolen items.

The men reportedly subsequently confessed to the robbery.
