Los Angeles – Actress Lindsay Lohan is reportedly dealing with a condition called Chikungunya, which she contracted during a visit to Bora Bora. As reported by WebProNews, Lohan was stated to have been recently released from a hospital in London after getting treatment for the virus, which is contracted from mosquito bites.

Chikungunya is stated to cause severe joint pain, nausea, fatigue, and other symptoms. Recovery time can take months following treatment.

A source is quoted as stating to E! News of Lohan’s prognosis, “The doctors told her it could take six months to a year for the virus to clear up. She has good days and bad. Right now, she’s not doing so well.”
