Tallahassee – A man has been arrested in connection with the theft of photos of women stolen from hacked email and social media accounts. As reported by the Tallahassee Democrat, Michael Rubens, 30, has been charged with multiple crimes including stalking in connection with the purported hacking.

Rubens is alleged to have sent nude photos obtained to the friends or family of most of the female victims. One of the women claimed her email account was hacked multiple times over a five-month period.

In one of the victims’ cases, Rubens was found to have been using the same IP address that had logged into her account.

Rubens was released on his own recognizance the day after his arrest.
