California – A cover photo of In Touch Weekly magazine featuring former Olympian and reality star Bruce Jenner has sparked controversy. As reported by WebProNews, the cover featured a photoshopped image of Jenner wearing makeup, angering Jenner’s ex Kris Jenner, and others.

The headline for the cover read “Bruce’s Story: My Life As a Woman.” Jenner’s body appeared to be photoshopped onto an image of 67-year-old Dynasty star Stephanie Beacham.

An article in the magazine makes claims that Jenner is undergoing a transformation and plans to come out as transgender this year in the LGBT magazine, The Advocate. The magazine has denied the claims.

Matthew Breen, editor in chief of The Advocate, is quoted as stating in response to the In Touch story “I’m astounded that Bonnie Fuller’s Hollywood Life would claim to have ‘all the details’ on Bruce Jenner’s ‘big magazine plans’ because their story is a total fabrication — like InTouch‘s distressing Photoshopped cover… Neither publication has any insider source with knowledge of The Advocate‘s planned coverage.”
