Wisconsin – Two girls have been found competent to stand trial after being accused of stabbing their classmate multiple times. As reported by BuzzFeedNews, the girls allegedly stabbed the classmate to appease the Slender Man, fictional online meme.

The incident occurred in June during a sleepover. The victim, Payton Leutner, was stabbed 19 times.

One of the girls, Morgan Geyser, 12, who had been deemed mentally incompetent prior, was ordered to receive mental treatment by the court. She has been in treatment since August. Geyser and the other girl, Anissa Weier, 13, are both being charged as adults.

A preliminary hearing has reportedly been set for February 18.
