Teenager burned alive, suspect sought

Mississippi – A teenager who was burned alive died shortly after being found walking away from her burning car in flames. As reported by WebProNews, police are searching for the person who killed 19-year-old Jessica Chambers by dousing her with lighter fluid and setting her on fire.

The parents of the teen say she had left her home to get something to eat and clean her car. Police are still reportedly investigating her whereabouts for the day.

Chambers’ friend, Alyssa Cotton, is quoted as stating of her, “She was the most beautiful and loving and kind girl I’ve ever known. She loved to cheer(lead). She loved softball. She loved her family and her friends. She was just a big bundle of joy. We have no idea who did this.”

The attack is still under investigation.
