New York – The former wife of billionaire oil tycoon Harold Hamm is planning to appeal a massive divorce award to the dismay of many who have commented about it on social media. As reported by WebProNews, Sue Ann Hamm claims that the $995.5 million awarded to her by a judge in her divorce should amount to more due to the work she put in growing her husband’s company.

As noted in the report, Sue Ann Hamm’s award totaled less than six percent of the wealth she and Harold Hamm had while together. She received in the judgment their $4.6 million home in Nichols Hills, $17.4 million home in Carmel Valley, California, and $800,000 home in Enid, Oklahoma.

Harold Hamm has also been ordered to pay her $322 million by the end of the year and $7 million monthly payments beginning in January.

As noted in the report, Harold Hamm, whom Mitt Romney named his Energy Advisor in 2012 during his presidential campaign, is ranked 37th on Forbes’ 400 Richest People in America list.
