Driver charged in wedding day crash that killed Ohio man

Ohio – The driver involved in a fatal car crash that killed a man on his wedding day has been charged. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the driver, Timothy Tebbe, was indicted on multiple charges including vehicular assault and aggravated vehicular homicide.

Andrew Bloomfield, 27, a friend, Elizabeth Shelton, were killed in the accident, which occurred on October 12. Two other people were injured including Bloomfield’s bride, whom he had married just hours prior.

According to officials, alcohol and speed may have been factors in the crash.

Ruth Bloomfield is quoted as stating of the charges brought against Tebbe, “He already has to deal with it for the rest of his life… Yes, I lost a husband, but I’m making it.”
