Tennessee – The remains of a Tennessee nursing student who has been missing since 2011 have been identified. As reported by ABC News, Holly Bobo’s remains were found not far from her home in Parsons according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Bobo was 20-years-old at the time of her disappearance. According to witness statements from her brother, she was led by a man he mistakenly believed was her boyfriend into the woods nearby her home.

Decatur County Sheriff Keith Byrd who said bringing the case to a close was a top priority when he took his position, is quoted as stating of the reaction of Bobo’s parents to the news her remains had been found, “The finding of her body was more of a relief than anything… They had already come to grips with the idea that she was dead.”
