Arizona – A 9-year-old girl accidentally shot a shooting range instructor in the head, while being given instruction on how to use the weapon. As reported by AZ Family news, the man was later pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.

The incident occurred at a White Hills outdoor shooting range. The young girl was reportedly with her parents at the Arizona Last Stop property where the Bullets and Burgers gun range is located.

The instructor, Charles Vacca, 39, was stated to have been standing next to the child during an instruction on using a weapon. Vacca was shot after the girl pulled the trigger on the automatic Uzi she was holding.

An autopsy is expected to be performed in Nevada.
