Las Vegas – A former high school special education teacher accused of shooting at crew members from the reality TV show “Repo Games” has been sentenced to jail time. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Carlos Enrique Barron received a sentence of five years probation and 90 days in county jail in connection with the incident.

Barron, who was found guilty in January on charges of felony assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, burglary and misdemeanor discharging a firearm, pleaded that the judge grant him mercy, citing no one had been wounded in the incident.

Clark County District Court Judge James Bixler is quoted as stating to Barron during sentencing Tuesday, “You can’t do this and not have some kind of penalty attached.”

Barron has; however, been allowed to remain free pending a status hearing next month.
