Texas – A man was arrested after allegedly offering pills to a teenager on a flight to Texas. As reported by Reuters, the man, John Binho Lee, 33, was stated to have been in possession of Xanax and Ambien without having a prescription for them.

Houston Police spokesperson Kese Smith is quoted in the report as stating of the incident, “A flight attendant was advised by another passenger that the man offered the teenager pills. The flight attendant then alerted the captain who notified authorities on the ground.”

The flight subsequently landed at the Hobby Airport in Houston. A spokesperson for JetBlue is quoted as stating of the matter, “There was a disturbance, and the flight crew asked that local authorities be contacted.”

Lee has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.
