Los Angeles – Mila Kunis has received backlash for comments made during a recent appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” about her plans for a natural birth. As reported by Yahoo! Shine, several people expressed being offended in commenting online about her remarks regarding her plans to forgo an epidural when she gives birth to her first child.

Kunis is quoted as stating to Ellen, “The hospital that I’m going to be laboring in does a midwife, you know, doula type of thing. I’m going to do it as all natural as I possibly can unless that there’s an emergency or something that should go wrong… I did this to myself, I might as well just do it right. I wanted this!”

Included in the online comments made about Kunis’ statements is one by a user named Erin who wrote on People.com, “Like Mila but just because you use an epidural during child birth doesn’t mean you are not ‘doing it right.”

Author Kelly Oxford also wrote in a tweet to her 573,000 followers, “SAD NEWS: Looks like some women have a baby wrong.”
