Los Angeles – R&B singer Chris Brown is reportedly set to remain jailed for at least another week following his detainment in March. As reported by Reuters, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Brandlin said Thursday that Brown’s incarceration would continue unless his attorney and the prosecutor in the case could agree on a resolution regarding the terms of his probation.

Brown has been held since March 14 after being dismissed from a rehabilitation center. The dismissal was reportedly a violation of his probation stemming from his assaulting then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. A hearing on the matter has been set for May 9.

Brown, who will spend his 25th birthday on May 5 in jail, is also set to stand trial for misdemeanor assault charges filed against him in Washington D.C.
