Massachusetts – Friends of accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev are facing charges linked to an alleged coverup. As reported by Reuters, a U.S. judge ruled on Wednesday that three college friends of Tsarnaev are set to go to trial in June after being accused of helping to hide Tsarnaev’s tracks from the FBI.

U.S. District Judge Douglas Woodlock is quoted by Reuters as stating at a pretrial hearing, “We’ll get to this quite promptly… The issues that are involved here have to deal with something very specific.”

The defendants Dias Kadyrbayev of Kazakhstan, Azamat Tazhayakov, and Robel Phillipos stand accused of removing items, including a laptop, from Tsarnaev’s dorm room at his request. Each have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
