New Jersey – A former New Jersey teacher and her parents have been sentenced in the death of her ex-husband. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Kathleen Dorsett and her parents received combined 110-year prison sentences for the 2010 death of Stephen Moore.

All three reportedly pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the killing of Moore, who prosecutors say was attacked by Dorsett’s father after he returned their daughter to her mother’s home, hitting him in the head with an object and then choking him with a rope. Dorsett and Moore had been involved in a custody battle over their then 20-month old daughter.

Superior Court Judge Anthony Mellaci Jr. is quoted by the AP as stating of Dorsett during court proceedings, “This is a narcissistic individual. Her crocodile tears get turned on and off seemingly at will…This is really an American family tragedy on so many levels, and the responsibility for it falls mainly on this defendant’s feet.”
