Bellevue, Washington – Additional workers have reportedly come forward in a lawsuit alleging lead contamination at a gun range. As reported by King 5 News, the plaintiffs in the case claim Wade’s Eastside Guns violated safety laws, which led to workers being exposed to dangerous levels of lead.

Roberto Sanchez, who was an employee at the gun range for 11 years, alleges in the case that he required hospital care after performing dirt evacuation work in the facility. His blood lead levels were reportedly higher than what the Centers for Disease Control deems safe according to his medical records.

Sanchez is quoted in the report as stating of his ordeal, “I had aches and started getting nauseous and headaches… The last major thing was that my kidneys hurt so bad, I couldn’t get out of bed.”

Investigations into the claims are purportedly underway.
