New Jersey – Actress Amy Locane-Bovenizer, who appeared on the hit 1990s television series “Melrose Place,” has been sentenced in connection with a 2010 drunk driving accident hat caused the death of a 60-year-old woman, Helene Seeman. As reported by Us Weekly, Locane-Bovenizer was sentenced to three years in prison on Thursday after facing up to 10 years for her vehicular homicide conviction in November of last year.

Locane-Bovenizer’s blood alcohol level was reportedly three times higher than the legal limit at the time of her arrest.

Assistant prosecutor Matthew Murphy is quoted in the report as stating following the 2012 conviction, “This is a sad day for the Seeman Family. There were no winners declared by the verdict. There are only losers… A husband lost his dear wife; his two children lost their mother; and Helene’s mother lost her daughter. That loss can never be rectified by a verdict.”
