Los Angeles – The body of a former ex-cop accused in the killings of three people has reportedly not been found following a fatal shootout with officers. As reported by The Lookout, the LAPD denied several reports that claimed fugitive Christopher Dorner’s body was found inside of a burned cabin where the disgruntled police officer is said to have barricaded himself.

Authorities have reportedly stated that the cabin was too hot at the time of the report for a safe investigation of the scene to be conducted and doing so could TAKE days hours or days.

LAPD spokesman Andy Smith is quoted in the report as stating of the multiple reports claiming Dorner’s body had been found, “That was a mistake. If someone said it was all-clear two hours ago, that was a mistake.”
