Los Angeles – A lawsuit filed against the A&E television show “Storage Wars” is alleging that the show is rigged, with producers engaging in manipulative practices. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), former show cast member David Hester, who filed the suit, claims he was fired for complaining about producers adding items to abandoned lockers for the sake of facilitating drama for the show.

The lawsuit is quoted by the AP as stating of the show, which shows buyers bidding on and purchasing abandoned storage units after having only a short time to look inside, “A&E regularly plants valuable items or memorabilia.”

Hester’s lawsuit is seeking over $750,000 for wrongful termination, unfair business practices, and breach of contract.
