San Jose woman killed in pedestrian accident identified

San Jose – An elderly San Jose woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident has been identified by authorities. As reported by MercuryNews.com, 81-year-old Flora Boking Cadalig was struck by a car while crossing North Jackson Avenue and pronounced dead at the scene.
San Jose police Sgt. Jason Dwyer is quoted in the report as stating of the accident, “It’s very sad.”
The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident was stopped and reportedly cooperated with police.
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the accident.
