National Park, NJ — A school bus and SUV collision sent 11 people to the hospital on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. The school bus accident occurred just after 4 p.m. at Hessian and North Grove avenues in National Park, reports the Courier Post Online.

Details surrounding the crash were not available at this time.

The school bus was transporting 10 students from the Green-Fields School in West Deptford at the time of the crash. There was only one occupant of the SUV.

Responding emergency crews rushed four people by ambulance to Underwood-Memorial Hospital in Woodbury for medical treatment of minor injuries. Seven other victims were transported by a second bus to Underwood-Memorial for a medical observation.

Photographs taken at the scene indicated that the was bus traveling through the intersection on Grove when the SUV hit one of the bus’ rear wheels, the Courier Post reported.

Investigations into the school bus accident are underway.
