North Bergen, NJ — An industrial accident led to the death of a 34-year-old man, who was found crushed to death, on Friday, January 27, 2012. The fatal workplace accident occurred at Prestige Exterior Maintenance on Railroad Avenue, reported NorthJersey.com.

According to reports, mechanic Oscar Coreas, 34, was found when another employee arrived at the location to open up the business around 10 a.m.

Coreas had reportedly been working alone while repairing a Bobcat vehicle when it apparently fell on him, the Hudson Reporter revealed.

Responding emergency crews pronounced Coreas dead at the scene.

When Coreas did not return home from work Thursday night, his family members began to look for him.

The North Bergen Police, North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue, and the Hudson County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene.

Investigators with the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are expected to arrive at the scene to conduct a full investigation.
