Redwood City, CA (Bay Area Injury Lawyer News)—A male pedestrian suffered unspecified injuries after being run over by a Caltrain in Redwood City, a suburb on the San Francisco Peninsula. The injurious pedestrian-train accident happened around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010, as reported by the Mercury News. While the victim’s identity and condition were not released, nine people lost their lives on Caltrain tracks since the beginning of this year. A full investigation would be required to determine whether suicidal tendencies played a roll in the Redwood City accident. “Caltrain reminds people to be cautious around railroad tracks and never go around a lowered gate… The crossing gate is timed to come down just 29 seconds before the train enters the crossing,” explained Dunn.
