Los Angeles, CA—A little boy is dead after he fell 50-feet from a luxury suite at the Staples Center, just a few minutes after the Lakers defeated the Warriors on Sunday night, November 21, 2010, reports MSNBC and the Los Angeles Times.

Officials have identified the 2-year-old boy as Lucas Anthony Tang, who was enjoying the game with his parents and his 11-year-old sister.

Tang was rushed by responding emergency medical crews to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where he tragically succumbed to his life-threatening injuries.

Officials are trying to determine how he fell, or what he was doing prior to the fall, but some believe he was taking pictures from the third deck of the center when the accident occurred.

The boy was reportedly moving his arms, legs and head before being whisked away by the paramedics.

LAPD’s abused-child unit is conducting a full investigation into the fatal accident.
