Boston School Bus Crash: 2 Injured in School Bus Crash, Involving 2 Buses

Boston, MA—A two-vehicle accident involving two school buses injured at least two people on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. The collision occurred at around 2:20 p.m., on Route 126 at Route 2 eastbound in Concord, as reported by WCVB TV.

Massachusetts State Police reported that one of the school buses rear-ended the other school bus for unknown reasons.

Both buses were reportedly transporting students from the Concord public school system at the time of the accident. The bus that was rear-ended was carrying 11 students, while the other bus was transporting five students.

The driver of the rear bus, age 63, and a 13-year-old boy in the rear bus were transported by responding emergency crews to Emerson Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The driver of the rear-ended bus remained uninjured.

A full investigation into the crash is currently underway. No charges have been filed at this time.
