Tampa, FL (Tampa Auto Accident Lawyer News)– A two-vehicle crash is being blamed on state Senate candidate Kevin Ambler, who pulled into the path of an oncoming SUV that left the other motorist injured. The crash occurred around 12:30 Saturday, August 14, 2010, on Dale Mabry Boulevard, as reported by ABC Action News.

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reported that Ambler, who is seeking the Republic nomination for state Senate District 12, was making a turn into the entrance of an upscale community when the accident occurred. Ambler was reportedly making the turn from northbound Dale Mabry Boulevard in a rented Mercedes, when he apparently pulled into the path of a southbound red Toyota 4-Runner.

The driver of the SUV, Janet-Lee Troupe, 71, suffered a broken leg, shattered ankle and chest injuries in the wreck. Troupe was transported by ambulance to University Community Hospital for treatment. Ambler was transported by his wife to St. Joseph’s Hospital North for treatment of his undisclosed injuries.

Accident investigators stated that Ambler would likely be cited for the injurious automobile accident.
