Lake Worth, FL—A violent single-vehicle accident claimed the lives of an elderly couple and left their caregiver, as well as two others, injured. The deadly crash occurred along Interstate 95 on Sunday, June 27, 2010, according to information provided by the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports indicated 35-year-old Lunda Boliere was driving her 2004 Toyota Avalon along I-95 when another vehicle cut her off. Boliere’s vehicle was subsequently sent careening across the entrance ramp to Tenth Avenue North, hurdling over it. The Toyota then smashed into the sound barrier before overturning. The damaged vehicle came to a rest on its roof on the shoulder of the highway.

Boliere was reportedly transporting 52-year-old Elise Sharon Graham and 12-year-old Naomi Graham to Palm Beach International Airport when the fatal wreck occurred.

Both Diana and Sidney Einhorn, both of Boynton Beach, were tragically killed in the crash. Diana was not wearing a seatbelt at the time and was consequently ejected from the vehicle. Though Sidney was properly restrained at the time, his injuries proved fatal as well.

The Grahams’ relation to 78-year-old Diana Einhorn and 81-year-old Sidney Einhorn was not specified.

Boliere and the Grahams’ were apparently taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center to be treated by doctors and nurses. Though Naomi Graham was listed in stable condition, Elise remained in critical condition. Boliere’s condition was not known.

A recent report deemed Florida’s 382-mile stretch of Interstate 95 to be the deadliest roadway in the nation, as previously covered by Justice News Flash.

Highway Patrol officials are conducting a full investigation into the incident. Troopers have also urged any witnesses who might have seen the vehicle that cut off Boliere’s car to contact Cpl. Anibal Monroig at (561) 357-4000.
