Dallas, TX—A Sunday morning, March 28, 2010 wreck killed a Weatherford woman on Texas 171 after colliding with Ford F-250 that veered into her lane. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:58 a.m., on Texas 171, nine miles south of Weatherford, as reported by the Star-Telegram.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported, Patricia Godwin, 45, of Weatherford was traveling southbound on Texas 171 in a 2008 Jeep Patriot when a northbound F-250 veered into her lane, causing a collision. The crash caused the Patriot “to overturn and come to rest on its roof facing north.” The collision sent the truck back over into the northbound lanes and stopped facing northeast in the east barrow ditch.
