Oregon personal injury attorneys alert- A crash between a TriMet bus and a Dodge pickup truck injured seven people.

Oregon City, OR—Seven people sustained injuries when a pickup truck rear-ended a TriMet bus Monday afternoon, February 1, 2010. The two-vehicle collision occurred around 4:00 p.m., on Linn Avenue in Oregon City, as reported by KPTV.

The TriMet Line 33 bus was reportedly stopped on Linn Avenue, when a late-model Dodge pickup rear-ended the bus. Clackamas County deputies did not reveal how or why the pickup truck hit the back of the bus. The driver of the truck, a male, and three children passengers, who were under the age of 12, were rushed to the hospital by emergency medical services (EMS) teams for treatment of their injuries. The children were reportedly wearing lap seat belts, which allowed them to smack their heads on the dashboard. Four passengers on the bus were also injured in the crash. They were also taken to the hospital by EMS teams for treatment of their injuries. They were reported to have non-serious injuries. A total of 40 passengers were on the bus at the time. Police officials do not believe drugs and/or alcohol were involved in the wreck. Police stated the truck driver likely won’t be cited or charged for the collision.
