West Palm Beach, Florida social responsibility news honors anniversary of Mohandas Gandhi’s birthday and joins the call for non-violence.

West Palm Beach, FL–JusticeNewsFlash is calling for International Day of Non-violence to extend to every day. Friday, October 2, 2009, marks the third annual International Day of Non-violence on the anniversary of Mohandas Gandhi’s birthday. Gandhi signifies a trust for freedom through the change of generations and his life expressed a single path.

The call for nonviolence is for each individual across the United States and world wide to stand and think for themselves! It is the individual that changes society. It is not society that makes an individual. We are so afraid of ourselves we use society as a sounding board for our own thinking. As individuals we are so terrified of rejection we hide in the realm of the status quo. We need to ask ourselves, as I ask myself, “How do I feel about the issue for an individual?” We need to stop asking how we feel about an issue for society.

We fear patience. We are so afraid of ourselves we would prefer to shoot ourselves in the foot than wait for something to materialize. Patience is a virtue and easily attainable at any moment. We are so accustomed to our frantic, senseless actions under the guise of what society thinks that we must do or be, that we even get mad if we miss shooting ourselves in the foot. We must cease fighting anything and anyone as an individual. With an attitude of thinking for ourselves reality will prevail.
