Washington train accident attorneys alert- A Metrorail train hit and killed a teenager.

Washington, D.C.—A teenager was killed after being hit by a Washington Metro Green Line train. Police investigators believe the teen may have intentionally stepped onto the tracks, which led to the horrific accident. The fatal accident happened on Thursday, September 17, 2009 around 2:00 p.m., at the Columbia Heights station, as reported by NBC Washington.

Investigator’s preliminary reports stated, a Bell-Lincoln Multicultural School sophomore might have purposely stepped onto the tracks, which caused him to be hit by the incoming Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Green Line train at the Columbia Heights station. Police officials reportedly found the teen underneath the Green Line train. The unidentified teenager was transported by area emergency medical services (EMS) crews to a local hospital for treatment of his life-threatening injuries. The teenager was later pronounced dead by attending medical professionals. Police officials are reportedly conducting a full investigation into the fatal train and pedestrian collision.
