A personal injury lawsuit filed against the City of Chicago by a woman who was injured at O’Hare International Airport settles.

Chicago, IL–As reported by the Chicago Tribune, Illinois personal injury lawyers representing a woman who claims she was injured when she slipped and fell at the City of Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport settled. Apparently, Diana Sarkar, filed a personal injury claim after she allegedly slipped and feel on an “oily” surface on the floor while walking through O’Hare. Attorneys for the plaintiff state she was traveling to a medical conference when she fell on the slippery surface.
The suit filed in court says Chicago maintains O’Hare International Airport and failed to clean the slippery substance off the floor and further failed to warn passengers. Sarkar suffered a broken knee cap and was unable to work for months according to the personal injury claim. She reportedly recovered $800,000 for her injuries and damages.
