Ohio truck wreck lawyers alert-pickup truck rollover kills woman in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Cincinnati, OH– A fatal pickup rollover crash on eastbound I-74 left kills a woman after being ejected from the truck. The fatal accident occurred in South Cumminsville on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 9:30 p.m., as reported by WPCO.
According to police officials, Frankie Hartsfield, 46, was driving his pickup truck on I-74 when he lost control of the truck and struck a sign near the Beekman exit. The pickup rolled over and ejected the passenger, Nevora Johnson, 50. Johnson was found by a passerby laying on the Interstate and immediately called 911. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by responding emergency medical service (EMS) crews. Hartsfield was transported by EMS personnel to the University Hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries he sustained in the crash. Accident investigators stated Johnson was not wearing a seatbelt.
All eastbound lanes along I-74 were shut down for six hours while investigators completed their accident reports at the scene of the crash. The Cincinnati Police Traffic Unit is still conducting an accident investigation of the fatal rollover. Area official are asking if any one witnessed the accident to please come forward. All lanes of I-74 have been reopened.
