Dunkin’ Donuts suspended sales of Dunkaccino drinks and hot chocolate for salmonella risk.
Boston, MA(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–Massachusetts based Dunkin’ Donuts pulled Dunkaccino brand beverages and stopped the sale of hot chocolate because of a salmonella concern on Tuesday. Fox News Channel 29, reported the famous coffee and donut house, who serves over 3 million customers a day across the country, learned one of their suppliers recalled products because of a potential salmonella contamination.
Dunkin’ Donuts pulled the drinks as a precaution when they learned Plainview Milk Products Cooperative, based in Plainview, Minnesota, voluntarily recalled its whey protein products and instant nonfat dried milk because of a salmonella contamination concern. Dunkin’ Donuts is an international donut and coffee retailer whose international headquarters are located in Canton, Massachusetts. With nearly 6,400 franchised restaurants across the United States, donut company leaders voluntarily issued the product recall as a precaution and claim there have been no reported salmonella injuries or illnesses in connection with their hot chocolate or Dunkaccino beverages.
