Largo biker crashes into Lincoln SUV and dies en route to Broadmoor Emergency Center.

Tampa Bay, FL(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–A motor vehicle collision (MVC) between a motorcycle rider and an SUV killed one and injured another on Thursday night. The St. Petersburg Times reports the SUV wreck took place at approximately 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of Starkey Road and 109th Avenue North. Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) state troopers state a motorcycle, driven by 23 year-old Ryan Craig Palmisano of Largo, crashed into a Lincoln Navigator SUV, operated by 21 year-old Jason David Wells of Largo. Pinellas County roadway fatality detectives received reports from witnesses claiming Palmisano sped through the intersection of Starkey Road and Bryan Dairy Road once the traffic light turned green. Tampa Bay area authorities suggest Palmisano may not have seen the black SUV making a left turn as he approached 109th Avenue North.

Pinellas County area paramedics were transporting Palmisano to Bardmoor Emergency Center when the ambulance was hit by another vehicle at the Starkey Road and Bryan Dairy Road intersection. Largo area doctors pronounced Palmisano dead at the local hospital. Wells remained uninjured. The driver, whose name is unavailable, of the vehicle that hit the ambulance was cited for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. As a precautionary measure, Pinellas County emergency medical services (EMS) crews took the driver to Bardmoor Emergency Center. Wells was not cited for the motorcycle-SUV collision. Largo area police detectives continue to investigate the fatal MVC.
