Fresno County semi-truck explodes into flames after fatal crash.

Riverdale, CA(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–A fatal head-on motor vehicle collision (MVC) killed one person and burned another in Riverdale, California, on Monday morning. KMPH Fox News reported the fatal wreck occurred in South Fresno County at 7:00 a.m. on Monday. California roadway accident investigators state a semi-truck collided head-on with a car on Highway 41 at Mt. Whitney. The semi-truck was in flames when California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers arrived at the scene after. CHP was vague about possible passengers in the 18-wheeler or automobile.

California emergency medical services (EMS) personnel reported the driver of the car was killed and another person suffered burn injuries in the fiery semi-truck wreck. Plus the confirmed reports of the injured semi-truck driver. California fire rescue crews state the burn victim was rescued from the semi-truck by a couple from another vehicle. South Fresno County paramedics transported the burn victim to a local hospital. The names of the two drivers have not been released and the identity of the third person involved remains unreleased. Riverdale area roadway fatality investigators were forced to close off both sides of Highway 41 at Harlan and Mt. Whitney. It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the semi-truck wreck. The cause of the explosive 18 wheeler accident is still under investigation by California police agencies.
