3 vehicle wreck kills 1 critically injures several.

Buffalo, NY(NewYorkInjuryNews.com)–A three-vehicle car wreck kills a West Falls, New York woman. The Buffalo News reports the three-vehicle collision happened on Sunday, May 31 at 11:15 a.m. The woman, 48 year-old, Judith Marx, died Tuesday morning from the critical injuries she suffered in the car crash. East Aurora police officers say Judith Marx was the front seat passenger of the motor vehicle driven by 48 year-old, Keith Marx, also of West Falls, New York. 17 year-old Patrick Marx was the backseat passenger of the automobile. East Aurora police investigators claim a vehicle, driven by 30 year-old, Lynn Kessler of Holland, was traveling northbound when she struck the back of Marx’s vehicle.

Marx’s vehicle, which was stopped and waiting to turn left, was pushed forward into southbound traffic. A third vehicle traveling southbound, driven by 57 year-old Bernard Shevlin, of South Wales, hit Marx’s vehicle. Judith and Patrick Marx were both transported by medical helicopter to Erie County Medical Center. Judith Marx sustained a traumatic brain injury, and Patrick Marx was treated by doctors and nurses for his injuries. New York emergency medical services (EMS) personnel took Keith Marx to Erie County Medical Center for reported complaints of back injuries. Buffalo area paramedics transported Kessler to a South Buffalo medical facility for his injuries. Shevlin’s condition is unknown. East Aurora and South Wales fire rescue crews were also at the scene of the fatal car crash.
