Dallas wrong way Ford pickup truck driver kills teenager

Dallas pickup truck driver crashes into SUV killing 16 year-old driver.

Dallas, TX(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–On Sunday morning a Dallas pickup truck driver entered the Dallas North Tollway in the wrong direction and crashed into an SUV driven by a 16 year-old in Frisco, as reported by the Dallas Morning News. Mariza Martinez, a 24 year-old Dallas woman entered the southbound Dallas Tollway lanes driving north. She slammed into an SUV driven by Kara Taylor, 16 of Little Elm. Kara was driving north on the Tollway with an unnamed 15 year old passenger friend.

Taylor was killed in the pickup truck wreck, her 15 year old friend suffered minor injuries, and Martinez was transported by emergency medical services (EMS) personnel to Medical Center of Plano. Martinez was listed in critical condition by doctors and nurses on Monday. Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/ highway automobile accident detectives are trying to determine how long Martinez was driving south in the northbound lanes. The fatal pickup truck accident happened north of the Cotton Gin Road onramp on the Dallas Tollway and police officers are waiting for Martinez’s toxicology test results.
