Dallas, TX(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–As reported by KBTX news, College Station, Texas, a couple traveling north of Highway 6, just north of Calvert, Wednesday morning, struck a tractor-trailer truck. Texas Department of Public Safety states the driver fell asleep at the wheel and hit an 18 wheeler traveling in the opposite direction.

Texas State Troopers claim when the driver crossed over the line, into oncoming traffic, he missed hitting the semi-truck head on and struck the front tire. Both the driver and his passenger were transported by emergency medical personnel to St. Joseph’s Regional Health Center. Texas highway accident investigators say the driver and the passenger of the automobile suffered minor injuries in the 18 wheeler truck accident. Apparently the couple involved in the automobile accident were driving from College Station to Dallas on northbound highway 6 when the motor vehicle collision (MVC) occurred.
